The first and arguably the most handsome of the facsimile issues of this cornerstone of Enochian magic; printed in specially selected inks on toning paper recalling the original. A very near fine copy of this increasingly uncommon edition in like (spine panel very slightly darkened) d/w, all housed in near very good (gilt on lightly rubbed, some light wear to corners, a few marks to cloth at ends) publishers original green cloth slip case with gilt and black papered sides as issued £250

Drummond, W, Oedipus Judaicus, 1811, Bracken 8vo pbk. 1996, 72 + 381pp + 16 plates (on ordinary paper).  A series of dissertations on Genesis and the books of Judges and Joshua that attempt to show them as astronomical allegories, together with a preliminary notice on ancient astronomy.  Edges of covers lightly rubbed, crease to lower corner of rear cover, slightly affecting corners of last few leaves, text lightly tanned, otherwise clean and tight. Good + £2.50
