Wye, C, Concept of Reform, 1st and only edition, privately published 1959, 8vo, stapled blue card wraps printed in red and black, 66pp; A collection of the author’s six essays on humanitarian philosophy, ethics, spiritual values, and organic science that had first appeared in various obscure periodicals between 1957 and 1958. Very slight fading to top and bottom inch of the front cover, lower corner lightly bumped,  slight curl to upper corner of text block, staples rusting leaving rust marks to inner margins in places, the odd minor spot here and there, text clean and tight, overall, a near very good copy of a very scarce item £15

A scholarly study, with particular reference to Cymbeline, Henry VIII, and The Tempest; their symbolism investigated from the viewpoint of Tudor mythology, religious tolerance, and Renaissance magic. A couple of trivial marks to edges of text block, a near fine copy of this uncommon title in like d/w £18

(Yeats, W.B), Harper, G.M, Yeats’s Golden Dawn, 1st edition, Macmillan 1974, 8vo, black cloth with gilt titles to spine, 10 + 322pp including index, a well respected scholarly study of Yeats’s association with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, one primarily based on previously unpublished manuscripts from Yeats’s own library. The appendices, which form over one third of the text, contain a valuable series of Golden Dawn documents, including the text of Yeats’s privately printed papers. Upper corners bumped and creased, very slight rubbing to spine ends, slight soiling to top edge of text block otherwise internally and externally clean and tight. A very good and internally better copy of the increasingly uncommon first issue in very good + (trivial faint shelf rubbing in places, price clipped) d/w £40
